Terms & Conditions

Effective date: June 11, 2026 · Last updated: June 11, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of veterinaryhires.com (“VeterinaryHires,” “we,” “us”).

By using the site — browsing jobs, reading guides, or purchasing a job listing — you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a job listing or apply for a job through the site.

2. What VeterinaryHires is (and is not)

VeterinaryHires is a job board for the veterinary industry.

We publish job listings and career content.

We are not an employer of the roles listed, a staffing or recruiting agency, or a party to any employment relationship formed between an employer and a candidate.

We do not screen, interview, or vouch for candidates or employers, and we do not guarantee that any listing will result in a hire or that any application will result in a job.

3. Job listings and sources

Listings on VeterinaryHires come from two sources: listings purchased and submitted directly by employers, and listings aggregated from employers' public careers pages.

In both cases the employer — not VeterinaryHires — is responsible for the content of the listing, including the accuracy of the role, compensation, and requirements described.

Aggregated listings may change or close on the employer's site before they are updated here.

When you click Apply, you are sent to the employer's own application page; your application is governed by that employer's terms and privacy practices, not ours.

4. Employer listings and payment

  • Paid listings are sold per listing at the prices shown on our pricing page as a one-time payment. There is no subscription or auto-renewal.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
  • Listings go live immediately after checkout and run for 60 days, after which they expire automatically.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
  • By posting a listing you represent that it is for a genuine, open position; that its contents are accurate and lawful; and that it complies with all applicable employment laws, including anti-discrimination laws and any state or local pay-transparency requirements that apply to the role.
  • We may decline, edit, or remove any listing that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, miscategorized, or otherwise in breach of these Terms. Listings removed for a breach of these Terms are not refunded.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings, or listings for anything other than a genuine job opening;
  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-download site content or listings for republication without our written permission;
  • interfere with the operation of the site, attempt to access systems or data not intended for you, or circumvent payment;
  • use the site to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages;
  • impersonate another person or company, or misrepresent your affiliation with an employer.

6. Career content is general information

Our career guides, salary pages, and compliance pages are general information for the veterinary industry.

They are not legal, medical, tax, or professional-licensing advice, and they may not reflect the most recent changes in state law or board rules.

Salary figures are estimates drawn from the cited sources, not guarantees of compensation.

Always verify licensing, scope-of-practice, and compliance questions with the relevant state board or a qualified attorney before acting.

7. Intellectual property

The site's content, design, and branding are owned by VeterinaryHires or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Employers retain ownership of the listing content they submit and grant us a license to display, format, and distribute it (including in search-engine job indexes) for the purpose of operating the site.

Employer names and logos shown on listings belong to their respective owners.

8. Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that listings are accurate or current, or that any employer or candidate is who they claim to be.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VeterinaryHires will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of the site — including any hiring decision, employment relationship, or application outcome.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you have paid us nothing.

10. Indemnification

If you are an employer, you agree to indemnify and hold VeterinaryHires harmless from claims arising out of the listings you post — including claims that a listing is inaccurate, unlawful, or discriminatory — and from your hiring practices.

11. Changes to the site or these Terms

We may change or discontinue features of the site at any time.

We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above.

Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Material changes to paid-listing terms apply only to listings purchased after the change.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which VeterinaryHires is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
