Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 11, 2026 · Last updated: June 11, 2026

This policy explains what information VeterinaryHires (veterinaryhires.com) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version: job seekers can browse and apply without creating an account, and applications go directly to employers — we never see them.

We collect information from employers who purchase listings, and standard technical data needed to run the site.

Information we collect

  • From employers posting a job: the details you enter in the posting form — company name, contact name and email, and the job listing content (title, description, location, compensation, application URL). The listing content is published publicly; your contact details are not displayed on the site.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers; we receive only a payment confirmation and receipt details. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • From job seekers: nothing beyond standard technical data. There are no job seeker accounts. When you click Apply, you are sent to the employer's own application page — your resume and application materials go to the employer, not to us.
  • Technical data: like nearly all websites, our hosting infrastructure logs basic request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
  • Correspondence: if you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can respond and keep a record of the request.

How we use information

  • To publish and manage job listings that employers purchase.
  • To contact employers about their listing (receipts, expiry, edits, support).
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including tax records.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Analytics and cookies

We do not run advertising trackers.

We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate site usage (page views, referrers); any such analytics is used in aggregate and not to profile individuals.

The site uses only the cookies necessary for it to function, including those set by Stripe during checkout.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the site: payment processing (Stripe), website hosting, and database infrastructure.

These providers process data only to provide their service to us.

Public job listings are also distributed to search engines (for example, Google Jobs indexing) — this covers the public listing content, not employer contact details.

Retention

Employer listing and purchase records are retained as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal and tax record-keeping requirements.

Expired listings may remain in our database after they stop being publicly displayed.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@veterinaryhires.com .

We will verify the request and respond within the time required by the applicable law.

We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.

Children

The site is intended for working professionals and employers.

It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above; material changes will be noted on this page.
