Wimberley Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team and support outpatient and procedural care. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on support. We are seeking dependable, motivated candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, work efficiently, anticipate team needs, communicate professionally, and take pride in delivering exceptional support throughout every stage of the patient visit.
In this position, you will play a key role in both exam room and outpatient and procedures, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit.
Responsibilities Include :
- Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
- Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
- Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
- Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
- Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
Schedule and Compensation **
- Compensation: $18-$23 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday as your day off

Preferred Qualifications and Skill Set :
- 1+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required
- Proficiency in the following skills (preferred):
- Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
- Radiology positioning and safety protocols
- Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
- Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing
