Veterinary Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Join Chattanooga’s Most Supportive Veterinary Team

At Shallowford Animal Hospital, you will work alongside four supportive doctors in a thriving, successful practice with loyal clients. We are a full-service small animal practice offering preventative care, surgery, endoscopy, digital radiology, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, electronic medical records with integrated AI technology and grooming. Many of our clients have been with us for years and truly feel like family.

What You Will Do

As our veterinary customer service representative (CSR), you will be the warm, welcoming face of our hospital. You will help clients feel at ease and supported while ensuring our doctors and technicians have the information, they need to provide the best care possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer multi-line telephones and schedule appointments
Greet clients and check patients in and out
Handle data entry, cashier duties, and filing
Support our front desk team in delivering excellent service every day

What We Are Looking For

2+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital preferred but not required
Familiarity with Cornerstone software is a plus but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
A positive, team-oriented mindset and a passion for client service
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills would be a wonderful bonus, but are not required

Embody Compassion and Empathy: You'll be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.

What You'll Bring to the Team

A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
