Veterinary Assistant

VCA Miller-Robertson Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant.

Location: 8807 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90069

Salary: $28-$35/hour, depending on experience level

Schedule: Full-time

Hospital Hours: Monday - Friday 7 AM to 7 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 5 PM

In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:

• Maintaining medical records.
• Preparing the surgical suite and surgical patients.
• Filling prescriptions.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
