New graduates will benefit from our structured, one-year mentorship program designed to help you transition confidently from veterinary school into practice. You'll have a dedicated Clinical Mentor whose schedule intentionally overlaps with yours, along with regular mentor meetings, goal-setting workshops, communication and soft-skill development, and hands-on learning opportunities.

Want additional surgical or dental confidence before stepping into practice? New graduates have access to our 5-day Surgical Mentorship Program, offered year-round in small groups and providing approximately 20–40 hands-on surgeries, as well as a 2-day Dental Wet Lab at our Dental Training Facility in Texas, led by our own veterinary dental specialist.

Our team supports doctors through diagnostics, anesthesia and surgical monitoring, dentistry, treatments, laboratory work, patient handling, and client education—allowing veterinarians to focus on practicing high-quality medicine and building meaningful client relationships.

• Facility & Medical Capabilities: As an AAHA-accredited hospital, Center for Animal Health regularly undergoes comprehensive evaluations across areas including patient care, surgery, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging, safety, exam facilities, and client service. The hospital offers state-of-the-art testing and diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, comprehensive dentistry, routine and advanced surgery, acupuncture, laser therapy, pain management, and additional advanced-care capabilities.
