Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Specialty Medical Director to join our team at Companion Animal Specialty and Emergency Hospital. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director. An ideal candidate will be Residency Trained or Board-Certified in Emergency and Critical Care, Small Animal Surgery, or Small Animal Internal Medicine, and will add their own dynamic abilities and personality to our dedicated & expert staff. Leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Companion Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital (CASE) in Crystal Lake, Illinois was formerly known as Animal Emergency of McHenry County. They have proudly provided exceptional medical care and personalized service to companion animals since 1997. We remain the only 24/7 specialty, referral, and emergency hospital in the greater McHenry County region, allowing for a diverse caseload.
