Rehabilitation Scheduling Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant

We are looking for: Rehabilitation Scheduling Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant 

This role provides a high level of client and patient service. In this role, the individual enhances communication and provides support between referring veterinarians, clients, veterinarians, and all team members of the department.  

What you’ll do:

• Answer and respond to phone calls from clients, referral partners and pharmacies 

• Log all conversations, as well as check and log voicemail messages 

•  Schedule appointments for multiple doctors and therapists 

• Call referral partners for patient records and save records to patient charts 

•  Check department emails and text messages throughout the day 

•  Call clients for appointment reminders 

•  Sit with patients during their acupuncture treatment 

•  Assist rehabilitation therapists with patients needing additional support with exercises and treatments 

•  Assist with workflow by bringing patients into the hospital for appointments and releasing them back to their families after treatments 

•  Monitor supplies needed for the department, as well as help keep the department clean and organized daily
