Join our team as a Part-Time Hospitalist Veterinarian with predictable hours and a consistent home hospital assignment. You’ll enjoy flexibility while working alongside a locally led care team supported by national resources.

• Compensation for Part Time roles is prorated based on experience and hours/shifts worked. Salary ranges listed in this posting reflect full-time roles.

Carolina Veterinary Specialists (CVS) in Matthews, North Carolina is one of one of six full-service, 24 hour emergency & specialty referral facilities in the Carolinas, with additional locations in Huntersville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Rock Hill, SC. Multiple referral specialties are offered across all locations, including but not limited to: Neurology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Cardiology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Behavior, Avian & Exotics as well as 24-hour emergency and critical care. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about providing high-quality, continuous care to hospitalized patients.

As a Hospitalist Veterinarian, you will serve as the central point of care for hospitalized patients, bridging the gap between our emergency service and specialty departments. You’ll focus on managing inpatient cases from admission through discharge, ensuring seamless continuity of care, clear communication with pet owners, and optimal patient outcomes.
