Carolina Veterinary Specialists (CVS) Huntersville is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital just north of Charlotte, North Carolina. Whether you’re balancing family commitments, pursuing personal interests, or simply seeking a more sustainable pace, we’re here to support you. This role allows you to stay clinically engaged without sacrificing balance, connection, or continuity of care. We’re flexible, open to conversation, and committed to understanding your availability and goals—and building a schedule that works for both you and the hospital.

• Compensation for Part Time roles is prorated based on experience and hours/shifts worked. Salary ranges listed in this posting reflect full-time roles.

Our hospital offers the opportunity to practice high-quality emergency medicine alongside a collaborative team that includes a board-certified surgeon who also serves as Medical Director, an Exotics Specialist, and a team of six Emergency Veterinarians. Doctors are supported by more than 25 full-time veterinary technicians and assistants supporting patient care 24/7, along with a strong network of experienced PRN technical staff.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
• North Carolina veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to exceptional patient care
