• Interest In: Small-animal general practice in an AAHA-accredited, full-service veterinary hospital providing exceptional medicine through wellness and preventative care, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, urgent care, pain management, and client education. The hospital is equipped to manage everything from routine wellness visits to more advanced medical and surgical cases, allowing doctors to practice comprehensive, high-quality medicine every day as the Medical Lead Veterinarian with support. 

• Medical Lead / Experienced Veterinarian: We are seeking an experienced veterinarian to step into a Medical Lead role within our collaborative, well-established hospital. This is an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing outstanding medicine while serving as the clinical leader for the hospital. Approximately 80–90% of your time will be spent practicing medicine, with the remaining 10–20% focused on leading clinical excellence, guiding medical standards, and partnering with hospital leadership to continue elevating patient care and team success.

• Patient Mix: A rewarding small-animal caseload primarily consisting of dogs and cats, with an excellent variety of wellness visits, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, diagnostics, and advanced medical cases. The diversity of the caseload provides opportunities to continue developing clinical interests while practicing comprehensive medicine every day. 

Medical Lead Role Snapshot

Clinical Responsibilities (80–90%)

• Deliver exceptional, compassionate veterinary care across wellness, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and urgent care services.
 • Independently manage routine, advanced, and chronic medical cases with confidence and sound clinical judgment.
 • Build lasting client relationships through thoughtful communication and individualized treatment plans.
 • Lead by example, modeling outstanding medicine, teamwork, efficiency, and patient advocacy.

Medical Lead / Leader of Medicine Responsibilities (10–20%)

• Serve as the primary clinical leader and medical authority within the hospital.
 • Guide medical standards, protocols, and consistency in patient care.
 • Support fellow veterinarians through collaboration on medical cases and clinical decision-making.
 • Partner with hospital leadership regarding medical equipment, workflow enhancements, and quality initiatives.
 • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, progressive medicine, and continuous professional growth.

Who We're Looking For

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
