Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Carolina Veterinary Specialists. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Manager. 

Carolina Veterinary Specialists (CVS) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is one of six full-service emergency & specialty referral facilities in the Carolinas, with additional locations in Huntersville, Charlotte, Matthews, Rock Hill, and Greensboro. Each location provides multiple referral specialties, as well as 24-hour emergency and critical care. This role offers a meaningful blend of challenge, growth, and balance; you’ll encounter a wide range of medical and surgical cases that will continue to build your expertise, while working a fair, rotating schedule of about 12 shifts per month, some of which are daytime hours.

We are currently offering a minimum annual base salary of $170,000 plus bonus incentives and a generous sign on bonus for experienced clinicians!
