Client Service Representative

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

•  Answering a high volume of phone calls and assisting clients with questions 
• Greeting clients and creating a welcoming experience 
• Checking patients in and out - Scheduling and confirming appointments 
• Responding to emails and client messages 
• Taking accurate messages for our medical team 
• Creating and updating patient and client profiles 
• Processing payments and assisting with account questions 
• Communicating with clients regarding medications, records, appointments, and follow-ups 
• Maintaining an organized and clean reception and lobby area 
• Assisting the veterinary team and other departments as needed 
• Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets

Preferred Qualifications

• **Veterinary hospital or veterinary receptionist experience is required** 
•  Excellent communication and customer service skills 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities 
• Comfortable answering phones and communicating with clients in person, by phone, and electronically 
• Reliable, punctual, and professional  
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team 
• Compassionate and comfortable interacting with dogs, cats, and their owners -
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emotional situations
